Kristin Idaszak is a freelance playwright, dramaturg and theatre artist. In
Chicago, her work has been seen at Theatre Seven, Chicago Dramatists,
Rasaka Theatre Company and Dramatis Personae Theatre Company. Currently
she is spending the summer at Williamstown Theatre Festival where she
is the dramaturg for The Last Goodbye, Six Degrees of Separation, in a
word, and Girls Day, among others. Her play The Golden Lasso will
be produced this fall as part of Perishable Theatre's International
Women's Playwriting Festival. As the daughter of two scientists,
Kristin is particularly interested in the intersection between science
and art. She also loves to travel, cook, eat, knit, read and blog as
her alter ego, Miss Adventure: kidaszak.wordpress.com.
