Carnaval Was A Hit!
Collaboraction's
4th annual Carnaval “the last night of love” was a theatrical mash up of
Valentine’s Day and Carnivale. Friday, February 16 from 8 - midnight the
artistic team at Collaboraction took over RedNoFive at 440 N. Halsted. This years Carnaval was sponsored by Stoli
Elite Vodka and Peroni Beer, and was hosted by the amazing team at
RedNoFive. Everyone in attendance on
that bitterly cold Friday night enjoyed a stellar
performance from 2006 Grammy Award winner, Rhymefest!Be on the lookout for
Collaboraction and Rhyemefest's upcoming project where together they adapt his new
and unreleased album, El Che into a staged play with music sometime in
'07! TJ Travelbee,Anacron Allen and a
break-dance extravanganza from theBrickheadz wowed the audience as the night
grew on, andThe Champagne Brothers offered a performance like nothing else.
