Collaboraction is currently runing our Annual Appeal to help us close the books for 2007. It's been an incredible year and we can use all the help we can get. Remember, every dollar counts! Dear Community Member,
Here we are. In the middle of a long, hot, dry, surreal and magical walk through the desert. The rest have either died from lack of water or they stayed back at the camp. But we have decided to keep walking towards the Oasis and along the way we have accomplished some wonderful things together …
- 7 SKETCHBOOK Festivals with 116 world premiere short plays, over 1000 theatre artists, 96 musical guests, 54 visual artists and over 25,000 audience members
- The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow which was extended 4 times!

During this journey we have raised and spent nearly $2 MILLION on creativity in CHICAGO!
The walk in the desert I am referring to is the long and treacherous journey from a small Chicago theatre company to a Chicago institution that will outlive its founders. Our hopes have been carefully put into action through steady growth in our Staff, Board, annual gala - Beggars’ Banquet, and of course, our Company Members and artistic programming.
The only way Collaboraction can continue to prosper and secure our future is through the continued giving of our community. Please consider making an end-of-year, tax-deductible donation to Collaboraction. We are opening our doors to all our donors to attend our annual fund open house holiday get-down on Dec. 20. Please join us.
I look forward to the rest of our trek onward to the Oasis. I’ve heard they have lots of great ideas and art there... In the meantime, I hope you don’t mind if I sing, dance and talk a little. I find it helps keep me going, and reminds me why we are walking so far. Thank you for all your continued support of money, mind, and spirit.

You’ve directly helped purchase 3 weeks of time with an equity actor, one weeks time in a theatrical venue or costumes for a production of Sketchbook!
GOLD Level: $500 - $999
You’re directly helped purchase time with a designer for a production, 6 months of heat for our head quarters or helped update our technology needs!
SILVER Level: $150 - $499
You’ve directly helped purchase printer ink and other major office supplies for a month!
BRONZE Level: $1 - $149
You’ve directly helped us purchase essential incidentals such as toilet paper, office supplies and printer paper for a month!
Other ways to give...
Make a pledge in monthly installments, donate a gift or service to be auctioned off at our annual Beggar's Banquet or volunteer at one of our many events! No gift is too small and Collaboraction would not be where it was today if not for ALL levels of support recieved in the past 11 years.
